How do you cool your PC for long running computations?

Hi Everyone,

I am curious to know what products people in the community use to cool their PC/CPU for week long matlab calculations. I have a regular desktop machine, and am looking at purchasing a watercooling solution but have a hard time distinguishing what will keep my machine stable for long calculations while the PC is under very high load for sustained periods of time.

PS: Yes, optimized to be short already, through a couple iterations I have my code running 40% faster than when I first made it.

For some of us in New England, we have the opposite problem and rely on

while true
   svd(rand(4000));
end

To heat our homes!

Actually, I will also be putting my PC in my freezing cold basement as part of the cooling plan - no joke. My basement is 5C vs the 20C my upstairs is... That's 15C of cooling right there!
