LSB insertion on RGB image

I would like to know how one would
  1. Check the value of the LSB for each channel (R,G,B)
  2. Change the value (1->0 or 0->1)
Using 24-bit image ( 8 bit for each channel)

So you'd do
% Extract the individual red, green, and blue color channels.
redChannel = rgbImage(:, :, 1);
greenChannel = rgbImage(:, :, 2);
blueChannel = rgbImage(:, :, 3);
% Get LSB's of each pixel.
redLsb = rem(redChannel, 2);
greenLsb = rem(greenChannel, 2);
blueLsb = rem(blueChannel, 2);

That is exactly what I'm looking for appreciate your help Image Analyst,
How would one go on to reconstruct the image again?
My intended steps are
  1. Load the original image
  2. Manipulate the LSB
  3. Reconstruct the image again

For (1), use imread().
For (2) - I don't know what you want to do. I showed you how to get the LSBs - you can do whatever you want with them after that.
For (3) you can just use a nested for loop to change the pixel based on the value of your LSB array.
