Create polynomials in MATLAB

Dear,

I have this polynomial that I should program in MATLAB :

I have for example dv=3, lambda2=0.6 and lambda3=0.4

So, in MATLAB I have to find:

How can I program this please!

Did you try to just type it out, like

dv = 3;
x = [1, 2] % Whatever....

x = 1×2

1 2

lamdaVector = [0.6, 0.4];
lambda = 0;
for k = 1 : dv-1
    lambda = lambda + lamdaVector(k) * x(k) ^ k
end

lambda = 0.6000

lambda = 2.2000
