Frame logging "waits" for acquisition to end

Hi,
I am having a problem using the image acquisition toolbox.
when I am logging data to disk, using a videoWriter object - it seems as if logging to disk doesn't begin until acquisition ends. Does anybody know if this is normal (it makes my device memory "overload").
