Simulink 2011a 3D Animation nav panel garbled in OSX Mavericks

Here's a screenshot of what the Simulink 3D animation nav panel looks like in OSX Mavericks. Is there any way to fix this? I've googled quite a bit, but it seems that no-one has encountered or asked about this. I do recall seeing it working properly in older versions of OSX.
