What physical equations are used in a SimPower transmission line model?

I'd like to know what physical equations SimPowerSystems uses when simulating a customized transmission line model.
What I call a customized transmission line model is a series of RLCG sections defined manually with Simscape/SimPower electrical elements. The elementary section looks like that of the classical TL but with a more complicated impedance.
