How to write an image in to excel file ?

I want to return a cropped image to an excel file. after cropping, how to return it to excel file? i want to display that cropped part in that file. Thanq...

We wrote a Visual Basic application to do it. We then launched our VB app and passed in the filename. I'm sure with ActiveX you could do the same thing, but it's a lot of lines of code. Too many to share here.
