Reading IMG files in MATLAB and subsequently geo-referencing them?

I have to do some processing on the LROC IMG data available at http://lroc.sese.asu.edu/data/LRO-L-LROC-2-EDR-V1.0/LROLRC_0011/DATA/SCI/2012126/NAC/M190816833LE.IMG . I need to first read the IMG file in MATLAB and then geo-reference it with the lunar co-ordinates available as the Meta Data in the file itself.

I would be very grateful if anyone could help me regarding these two things.
