How to read multiple images of both png and tiff type from a folder?

I have 10 png images and 10 tiff images in a single folder.

[file path]=uigetfile('*.tif'); st=strcat(path,file); x=imread(st);

This will display only tif images in the folder while running it. But I need to display both .tif and .png images. Please give any solution.
