can you give me a progrm, that the data points select on the basis of the condition that it satisfy aparticular slope and intercept of a straight line.?

my data has 3 columns latitude,longitude,depth. size is too large, i want to select my profile as a straight line its starting & end point known(lat long),i want to found out the data points on this line,along with corresponding depth. pls reply...
