VLFEAT installation for SIFT

I am installing vlfeat-0.9.17 in MATLAB 2011
When I execute run('vlfeat-0.9.17/toolbox/vl_setup');
Nothing happens... and next prompt appears.

Just type in 'vl_version' on the prompt. If setup is successful you would get the version of Vlfeat: vlfeat-0.9.17. which means setup is successful.
Its better to include run command in the startup file in MAtlab. so that installation is permanent.
