Why does my keyboard frequently stop working (only in Matlab)?
Show older comments
I'm sure I must be accidentally hitting a shortcut combination but I haven't been able to figure out what I'm doing via google. Hopefully someone here can help.
This does not seem to be a Windows issue, as it only happens in the instance of Matlab I'm currently working in (I have several open at the same time).
Some of the symptoms are:
- Clicking on a tab in the editor closes that tab instead of selecting it
- Using the arrow keys cycles through appearances of the currently highlighted variable
- Backspace seems to function as undo
- The delete key does nothing
Thanks!

Go to File -> Preferences -> Keyboard -> Shortcuts.
Make sure everything is set alright there.
Action Name Vs Shortcuts will tell you your settings.

@ A: have you found a solution? I'm experiencing the same thing.
