register custom hardware under "run on target hardware"

Hi,
How to register our own target in the list of hardware targets displayed in menu Tools/Run on Target Hardware/Prepare to Run... or Tools/Run on Target Hardware/Options...? I can only see official targets (RasberryPi, Arduino...), how to add my own targets there?
