Get name and dimensions of signal between two Blocks

Hello,

i am actually working on a kind of signal tracking in simulink with matlab code.

In a model i've got two blocks (which i can name by modelname/blockname) which are connected with a signalline.

Now i want to get the signalname (the one which i can define by double clicking on the line) and the number of muxed signals (1,2,3 or what ever).

Can someone help me?

I want to get the name and dimension of the In1 and In2 Signals.

With get_param([modelname '/' out{1,3}],'InputSignalNames')

i get the to signal names. While [modelname '/' out{1,3}] is the name of the Mux2

answer is

    'In1'    'In2'

But how can i get the dimensions? The Constant might also be other sources, like "from"-Blocks or other blocks
