is there any way to plot real time data from arduino?

i have searched but didnt find a proper way to plot real time data in matlab from arduino. can anyone suggest any link for tutorial to do this thing? i simply wants to see real time ECG signal in matlab. even real time plotting with Data Acquisition Toolbox tutorial will help a lot i guess
