Simulink: BER calculation for Bit stream and Sound transmission

Hi experts,

1. In a real time transmission using simulink and USRPs, I can calculate the BER using rate calculator in simulink, but ofcourse the received signal is at certain delay. If I store the Input and Output to a variable, how can I check the BER via some code or by using any block in simulink.

2. If I transmit voice/sound from one computer and receive at other computer how can I calculate the BER in this case of transmission over 2 different computers....

your help and suggestion are really appriciated...
