Hello everybody, I am new for the blog and Matlab/Simulink.
I have some problem with simulink because I am not able to set MVS 2010 C++ as Matlab compiler. I have already installed the program and the sdk, but using mex setup I still see this message.
>> mex -setup
Welcome to mex -setup. This utility will help you set up a default compiler. For a list of supported compilers, see http://www.mathworks.com/support/compilers/R2012a/win64.html
Please choose your compiler for building MEX-files:
Would you like mex to locate installed compilers [y]/n? y
No supported SDK or compiler was found on this computer. For a list of supported compilers, see http://www.mathworks.com/support/compilers/R2012a/win64.html
Error using mex (line 206) Unable to complete successfully.
Do I need to have Matlab, MSV 2010 and SDK in the same folder? Is someone able to help me?
ps. I use matlab 2012a

Do you have Visual C++ 2010 Professional installed? Note that the Express version of Visual C++ is not supported -- if you have the Express version, install the SDK 7.1 for MATLAB's use as recommended at http://www.mathworks.com/support/compilers/R2012a/win64.html
