Download and Install Lidar Toolbox Support Package for Hokuyo Lidar Sensors
To add support for Hokuyo™ lidar sensors in MATLAB®, you must download and install the Lidar Toolbox™ Support Package for Hokuyo Lidar Sensors. When you complete the process, you can stream live 2-D lidar scan data into
MATLAB by using the hokuyolidar2d
object and its object functions.
Install Support Package
On the MATLAB Home tab, in the Environment section, select Add-Ons > Get Hardware Support Packages.
In the Add-On Explorer window, select the support package, and click Install.
Update Support Package
On the MATLAB Home tab, in the Environment section, select Help > Check for Updates.
Uninstall Support Package
To uninstall the support package, open the Add-Ons
panel. To do so, click the Add-Ons icon 
on the left sidebar. If the Add-Ons
icon is not on the sidebar, click the three-dot menu and select the
Add-Ons panel.
In the Add-Ons panel, click the three-dot menu next to the installed support package, and then click Uninstall.
