Communication interface
Transport layer external mode uses to exchange data
Model Configuration Pane: Hardware Implementation / Simulink or Embedded Coder Hardware Support Package / Hardware board settings / Target hardware resources / External mode
Description
The Communication interface parameter selects the transport layer that external mode uses to exchange data between the host computer and the target hardware.
Dependencies
None
Settings
TCP/IP
(default) | XCP on TCP/IP
The Communication interface parameter selects
TCP/IP
or XCP on TCP/IP
as the transport layer that
external mode uses to exchange data between the host computer and the target hardware.
Note
For the Embedded Coder® Support Package for AMD SoC Devices, use the XCP protocol for simulation as described in External Mode Simulation by Using XCP Communication. Support will be removed for External Mode Simulation with TCP/IP in a future release.
