Gas

Gas propagation model

Description

Model the behavior of electromagnetic radiation from a point of transmission as it travels through gas by using a Gas object. For more information about the model, see [1]. Propagation models for gas are valid from 1 to 1000 GHz, assume line-of-sight (LOS) conditions, and disregard terrain, the curvature of the Earth, and other obstacles.

Creation

Create a Gas object by using the propagationModel function.

Display the coverage area for a transmitter in hot air. Specify the air temperature as 35 degrees Celsius.
