Responsibilities

Business Partnership: Build strong relationships with management and staff in the Development organization developing a deep understanding of their business, goals, and challenges. Anticipate, assess, and address systemic issues through facilitation, coaching, counseling, and the use of HR data and technology. 

Organizational Effectiveness and Change Management: Provide consultative guidance on organizational and staff needs. Support and guide departments through organizational changes, using change management strategies to ensure smooth transitions and adaptation to change.

Performance Management:  Guide and coach managers in the performance management process, including setting objectives, providing feedback, communicating performance reviews, and addressing performance issues.

Employee Relations: Act as a point of contact for employee relations within the Development organization, resolving complex employee relations issues with a balanced and fair approach.

Compensation: Collaborate with the compensation team and managers to facilitate merit planning and compensation initiatives.

Project Management: Collaborate with local and global HR team members, manage projects, or provide direction on HR-related programs and practices, identifying areas for increasing efficiency or ways of working in support of continuous improvement for the HR team.  Ensure consistency, communication and collaboration in a matrixed, global environment.

Analytics & Solutions: Analyze trends and use data to propose and develop solutions, best practices, and organizational development programs and practices.

Minimum Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree and 6 years of professional work experience (or a master's degree and 3 years of professional work experience, or equivalent experience) is required.

Additional Qualifications

  • Ability to influence and provide credible HR guidance to management at all levels.
  • Strong relationship-building skills, with the ability to communicate effectively, including audience-centered writing, active listening skills, and adjusting verbal communication style as needed.
  • Experience in coaching and counseling all levels of staff on a wide variety of issues.
  • A thorough understanding of performance management systems and employment law.
  • Knowledge of organizational development programs and practices.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to diagnose root causes.
  • Skilled in facilitating meetings and delivering presentations to a variety of in-person and remote audiences.
  • Demonstrated business acumen and a working knowledge of multiple HR disciplines.
  • Ability to work in a time-sensitive and confidential environment.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, and HRIS (Workday is a plus).
