As an embedded systems software engineer, you will work on enhancing MathWorks products that help our customers design and deploy next generation complex systems.
You will be tasked with creating tools of exceptional quality that accelerate the development and deployment of complex systems. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and validating new features and UIs for system level design including:
- Working on a modern C++14/C++17 code base
- Designing and implementing device driver and middleware abstraction APIs and frameworks
To achieve this, you will be required to work closely with other team members in Cambridge, UK and Natick, North America.
- A bachelor's degree and 5 years of professional work experience (or a master's degree, or equivalent experience) is required.
- A good first degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics or a related discipline from a top tier university
- Solid oral and written communication
- Self-motivated, independent worker, with a history of driving tasks to completion
- Experience with embedded systems is a plus
