Performing Power System Studies, Part 3: Running Multiple Scenarios Using Multiple Cores
From the series: Performing Power System Studies
Power system studies typically require you to simulate a range of operational scenarios. There could be thousands of scenarios due to the presence of variable energy, controllable power flow devices, and other components with wide operational envelopes. In this presentation, we will show how MATLAB® and Simulink® tools can be used to simulate scenarios across multiple cores. By utilizing multiple cores, you can decrease the time it takes to perform Monte-Carlo studies.
