Description
CosiMate is a co-simulation backplane that enables multiple simulators and models to communicate together over a network. CosiMate links these simulators via a configuration file and C interfaces (API provided by each tool) to automatically handle data-type interconnects and host/application synchronizations.
System-level design engineers use CosiMate to simulate and validate a whole heterogeneous system at different abstraction levels. CosiMate links Simulink® to other simulators, including AMESim, Saber, VHDL® and Verilog®, SDL, and C and SystemC. This enables easy yet powerful simulation of mechatronics applications.
