This non-linear 2D FE code has been developed in order to process mesh created with GMSH (with mesh saved with "msh format" 2.2).
The materials and the boundary conditions must be identified by physical groups during the creation of the mesh.
The input parameters that the users have to define for the correct elaboration of the data are fully contained in the 4 scripts/functions outside the folders of the programs. All the instructions are provided in the comments of each script or function.
The mesh files need to be inserted into the folder "Mesh". The folder "Temp" is deputed to contains the temporary file for each load step.
The folder "drivers" contains all the function/script used in the program.
The main script is the file "F2D" and the elaborations have to be started from it. The code contains several non -linear model involving damage and plasticity (also combined) for isotropic and orthotropic materials. An arc-length algorithm applied on defined degrees of freedom of the user define control points is employed.
The post processing is fully managed in Matlab by using the wizard script "Results". The package contains a fully working example "out-of-the-box"
