AnisoVis

Visualisation of anisotropy in rock forming minerals, including elasticity, acoustic velocities (phase & group) and optical birefringence

https://github.com/DaveHealy-github/AnisoVis

You are now following this Submission

Single GUI front end on scripts to calculate and plot directional variations in minerals properties, including elasticity, acoustic velocities (phase & group) and optical birefringence.

Includes over 250 data files for over 80 different minerals, using previously published data.

Comment blocks in the code contain the full references to the publications used in the methods.

Pending enhancement will allow for 3D printing of representation surfaces for teaching; and possibly including full colour.
