Objective of the program is to solve for the steady state voltage distribution of a microstrip line in air using FDM of Laplace's equation. The x dimension is 7 units in length and y dimension is 2 units in length, of the entire simulation domain. A microstrip of 1 unit length in x-direction is placed at the center of the simulation domain. It's thickness is 1 grid line (close to zero theoretically). A DC voltage of 1 Volt is applied to the microstrip while all outer boundaries are at ground potential. The steady state voltage and field distribution are plotted to show an application of FDM method for Laplace's equation.
