I am using Matlab.mathworks.com and my command area does not print anything

When I run a MatLAB command like

>> A = magic(5)

WITHOUT a semicolon, NOTHING is being printed in the command area.

I am using this for a coursera and CANNOT submit my answers because I don't get any output in the command window.

Are you still seeing this behavior or did you only see it in the past? I see a notice on the application status page indicating that there was an issue on Wednesday. I'm not sure if that issue would explain the behavior you're seeing.

This will clear the workspace but if you call

exit

and reopen MATLAB Online, does that resolve the problem?
