Why does the vehicle not move in Simulink Bird's-Eye Scope?

I run a simulation out of the Bird's-Eye Scope to visualize a car in a certain scenario using Automated Driving Toolbox. However, the Bird's-Eye Scope only shows the vehicle but does not simulate any motion.

It might be that when you try to run your model from the Bird's Eye Scope, Simulink generates an executable and then runs that instead of the model itself. Executables are generated when running the model in rapid accelerator or external mode.
However, visualization on Bird's-Eye Scope is not supported when running an executable. This is noted inside the following documentation link "General Limitations":
You can update your model's configuration settings to not generate an executable while avoiding external or rapid accelerator mode. This should result in being able to visualize data on Bird's-Eye Scope.
The information about the limitation using the Bird's-Eye Scope during external mode is missing, which I handed over to our documentation team to consider in the future.
