What code should I use to be able to solve these MatLab questions?

If you aren't sure where to start because you're not familiar with how to write MATLAB code, I suggest you start with the MATLAB Onramp tutorial (https://www.mathworks.com/support/learn-with-matlab-tutorials.html) to quickly learn the essentials of MATLAB.
If you aren't sure where to start because you're not familiar with the mathematics you'll need to solve the problem, I recommend asking your professor and/or teaching assistant for help.

As this looks like a typical homework assignment, if you post what you tried to do indicating where you are having issues, then someone may be able to guide you. Also, advise breaking up your multiple questions and multiple parts into separate questions.

Hint #1: Here is sample syntax to use to create a 2x4 matrix
Q = [1 2 3 4; 5 6 7 8]
Hint #2: See the following function for summing along rows or columns of a matrix:
Hint #3: Use the .* operator, with the dot, to do element-wise multiplication.
Hint #4: Here is sample syntax for creating a vector of values in a given range:
x = linspace(-5,6,1000);
x = -5:0.01:6;
