how to set the image into axis using GUI?

[filename1 pathaname]=uigetfile('*.jpg');
axes1=imread(filename1);
axes11(hadles.loadimage);
I can get image using loadbuttuon option but do not set into the axes.
how can i set or load image into axes?
please help me

It seems you name your image axes1. I'm not sure what axes11 is,nor what hadles.loadimage contains.
have you tried image(axes1), imagesc(axes1) or imshow(axes1)?
