Save my own function in the pre-defined function list

Can I create a function, then save it in a list of predefined Matlab functions?

If you mean that you would like your function universally accessible from any directory, and you want this remembered from session to session, you can use PATHTOOL and similar path manipulation functions to save your function to the MATLAB path.
