Comprehensive documentation of activeX API between MATLAB and Word.

I am trying to create a dynamic Word document depending on the data I have in my Matlab Workspace. I have this as a guide, but it doesn't contain everything i need or want to do. https://de.mathworks.com/matlabcentral/fileexchange/56283-activex-word-control-base-commands

I also have access to the Micosoft documentation, that has all the objects, methods and properties. There is useful stuff in there, but everytime I try to use something from there, I get the synthax wrong. https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/office/vba/api/overview/word

Is there any comprehensive documentation that explains how to use this interface?
