So let's say I have a 3 row, 3 column matrix. If I code the following:

1 view (last 30 days)
>>mean(mat,2)
What does the '2' represent? I have this in my textbook and it doesn't explain it well.

The documentation explains what the second input does. One of the advantages of Matlab over their competition is the documentation.
