How to compare each element of matrix having binary numbers?

let a=[1 0 1;0 0 0;1 1 1];

b=circshift(a,1);

this gives us the result

b=[1,1,1;1,0,1;0,0,0];

Now i want compare each elements of the matrix a with matrix b and if the elements are equal it should result as 1 else 0.

Then I want store the output of the compared matrices in an array,
