Is the Stateflow addon of the current version (R2018b) compatible with Matlab/Simulink R2018a?

I bought the Student package of Matlab/Simulink last year on the version R2018a and I want to add Stateflow and maybe some other addons. Are the current versions of the addons R2018b compatible with my older Matlab version or do I have to buy everything on the current version?
