Why does MATLAB crash when using the 15.300.1025.0 crimson driver from AMD?

1 view (last 30 days)
I have an AMD Radeon graphics card, and I just updated to the most recent driver, version 15.300.1025.0. Now a script that plots a few data series that used to work fine is now crashing MATLAB R2014b. This also occurs in R2015a, when I bring up an axes or an "errordlg". What can I do to resolve this?

This is caused by a bug in AMD's 15.300.1025.0 crimson driver. To resolve the issue, update your driver to version 16.1 or newer.
