1) I want to know what kind of Solvers are best for running Simulations while using Power Electronic Circuits (I am using components from SimPowerSystems toolbox). 2) Also should I be careful about the Solvers while simulating the same Power Electronic Circuits using differential equations (Eg: for DC-DC Converter.) Any suggestions or problems you faced while in such kind of cases would be of great help. Thanks in advance.

Hi Siva,
Are you referring to the solver used by the Simulink engine? Or the Solver Block that you need to add to the Simscape model?

Hello Rollin,
I am talking about the solver used by the Simulink Engine.

For Simscape models, if variable-step global solver is used, the advice is to use daessc or ode23t.
