Hi all, i would like to ask if i can determine each node of som as one cluster ?
For my data,i have already used k means and fcm to cluster the data into 2 clusters(the difference in the cluster is 2 data points). now i am trying to use som to see if the results tally with either one clustering methods or will produce a new result. i used the following code
dimension1 = 1;
dimension2 = 2;
net = selforgmap([dimension1 dimension2]);
by setting the dimension this way and if i consider each node as one cluster, it will tally with the results of k means.
