is GraphCuts for HD images (1080x1920) possible ?

Hi! I want to create a graph for HD image (1080x1920), but the build_graph... returns error because it goes out of memory when initializing the very large graph matrix. Do you maybe have any suggestions how to tackle this issue. I want to implement a gaphcuts algorithm for HD images or larger resolutions.
