Radio Setup Walkthrough
For a walkthrough of how to set up your radio for use with Wireless Testbench™ using the Radio Setup wizard, play the video. The video shows the steps to connect and set up a USRP™ N310 radio.
The steps are similar for other supported radios; However, some steps vary.
For a USRP X410 radio, the process does not include the Set Up SD Card step. If you need to update the firmware on your radio, you can do this in the Validate step. For details, see Radio Filesystem Image Version Test.
If you are using a Mac operating system, the wizard does not include the Save step. When you have successfully completed the radio setup, you can proceed to use your radio with Live Data I/O functionality without a saved radio setup configuration.
To set up a USRP E320 radio with a 10 Gigabit Ethernet connection, you must first use the wizard to set up your radio using a 1 Gigabit Ethernet connection, then manually load the
XGvariant of the FPGA image (since R2025a). For details, see Set Up USRP E320 Radio for 10 Gigabit Ethernet.
