MATLAB Connector Preferences and Account Information

Preferences

To set preferences for MATLAB^® Connector™, open the Connector and in the bottom-left corner of the window, click the Settings button .

Select a tab and adjust the options as described in the following table.

Tab	Preference
General Settings	Select Start MATLAB Connector at system startup to have MATLAB Connector start whenever you restart your computer.
	Select Help improve MATLAB Connector to send your experience information to MathWorks®.
MathWorks Account	Your Name and E-mail address. MathWorks Connector preferences do not support changing your name and email address. To change your name and email address, edit your MathWorks Account profile on mathworks.com.
Hardware Connectivity	MATLAB connection notifications — Display notifications when MATLAB Online attempts to connect with the MATLAB Connector. Hardware flash notifications — Display notifications when MATLAB Online attempts to flash your hardware device. System tray notifications — Display hardware related event notifications in the Windows® system tray or on the macOS menu bar. Click Revoke Permissions to reset the permissions in the Do not ask again dialog box. Selecting this option enables previously suppressed dialogs to reappear, thereby restoring the default behavior.
