Create Common Data Format (CDF) file

Syntax

cdfId = cdflib.create(filename)


Description

cdfId = cdflib.create(filename) creates a new CDF file with the name contained in filename. Specify filename as a character vector or string scalar. Returns the CDF file identifier cdfId.

Examples

Create a CDF file. To run this example, you must have write permission in your current directory.

cdfId = cdflib.create("myfile.cdf");

% Clean up
cdflib.delete(cdfId)
clear cdfId
