Senior HR Learning and Development Specialist

Job Summary

The HR Learning and Development Senior Specialist plays a key role in enhancing employee performance and fostering a culture of continuous growth. This position is responsible for implementing comprehensive learning strategies, delivering customized training programs aligned with organizational goals, and facilitating engaging workshops and other learning sessions to support professional and management development for staff in the APAC area. 

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate in-person and virtual programs, as well as self-serve resources, to support professional, onboarding and management development needs.
  • Work with HR Business Partners and business leaders to understand and analyze the needs of the business; design and deliver high-impact, practical solutions to improve organization effectiveness.
  • Develop approaches and customize solutions to meet team needs that reinforce learning and support staff development.
  • Partner with functional L&D teams across MathWorks to ensure alignment of learning initiatives with organizational goals and to share best practices in training and delivery.
  • Collaborate with local APAC offices to adapt and execute global learning strategies regionally.
  • Identify and collaborate on improvements to learning programs and resources.

Minimum Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree and 6 years of professional work experience (or a master's degree and 3 years of professional work experience, or equivalent experience) is required.

Additional Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree, Master's preferred
  • 6 years of Human Resources experience, with at least 4 years specifically in Learning and Development.
  • Experience in facilitating virtual and in-person workshops in the areas of leadership, management, communication skills, team and staff development, and other business skills.
  • Highly skilled in delivering presentations and facilitating meetings (including online and distance delivery experience) with a variety of audiences.
