Senior Advanced Support Engineer - MBD & CodeGen

Be part of the extended development team for Simulink and its Coder products, where you will solve complex problems and enable our customers to succeed using our products and tools. Share insights with development to help shape the future direction of our tools to meet the evolving needs of our customers.

Responsibilities

In this role you will:

  • Lead the resolution of escalated and advanced technical issues.
  • Mentor fellow engineers in their technical growth.
  • Influence new product features via review of designs, usability studies, and/or authoring source code.
  • Influence product direction by contributing knowledge of customer applications.
  • Create content for the MathWorks community (demos, technical writing).
  • Engage with selected customer accounts to resolve blocking issues or multiple product questions.

Minimum Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree and 6 years of professional work experience (or a master's degree and 3 years of professional work experience, or a PhD degree, or equivalent experience) is required.

Additional Qualifications

Nice-to-have qualifications:

  • Experience using MathWorks products - MATLAB, Simulink, Stateflow, Simulink Coder and Embedded Coder.
  • Firsthand experience or awareness of the software application development and algorithmic design within the Aerospace, Automotive.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and multi-tasking skills.
