Do you want to work across the UK Aerospace and Defence industry to help our customers develop signal processing and wireless communications systems? 

This role will allow you to be: 

  • A thought leader, advising industry on how to improve Radar, Wireless Communications and other Signal Processing products and development processes using MATLAB and Simulink 
  • A technical expert, supporting engineering organisations to employ the latest tools and techniques through deep technical engagements.
  • A team player, collaborating with industry teams as well as development, sales and marketing to engage with MATLAB and Simulink users and shape our products.

Responsibilities

Working with others in the UK Aerospace and Defence Customer Facing Engineering Team you will be responsible to: 

  • Understand key business and technical challenges for signal processing and communications customers in the UK aerospace and defence industry.
  • Solve challenging analysis and modelling problems.
  • Support adoption of MATLAB and Simulink by analysing customer requirements, guiding product evaluations and creating proofs of concept.
  • Identify new trends and collaborate with teams to develop compelling messages and demonstrations.
  • Advocate the future direction of MathWorks products 

Minimum Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree and 6 years of professional work experience (or a master's degree and 3 years of professional work experience, or a PhD degree, or equivalent experience) is required.

Additional Qualifications

  • Experience using MATLAB and Simulink for Signal Processing, Radar or Communication system simulation.
  • Experience deploying algorithms to hardware such as embedded processors, FPGAs, GPUs.
  • Ability to scope, lead, and work on multiple technical projects concurrently.
  • Willingness to travel an average of 1 Day a week. The majority of travel is within the UK.
