Machine learning will be a key component of next generation of wireless communication systems.

We are seeking a talented and self-motivated software engineer to develop novel machine learning and signal processing techniques for wireless communication systems. As a key member of the development team responsible for 5G, LTE, and WLAN toolboxes, you will play a critical role in identifying opportunities to apply machine learning/ artificial interlligence in wireless systems and develop algorithms and tools to support our customers.

 

Responsibilities

  • Apply novel machine learning and signal processing techniques to solve problems in 5G, LTE, and WLAN systems. Develop algorithms and tools to support our customers working on a variety of applications, including wireless sensing, localization, L1 optimization, and beam management.
  • Collaborate closely with a team of wireless and digital signal processing experts.
  • Participate in all aspects of software development cycle, including gathering requirements by engaging with customers, user-facing design, architecture, implementation, and test.
  • Showcase our tools by developing demos to illustrate how customers can use our wireless simulation capabilities across a variety of applications and use cases.

Minimum Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree and 5 years of professional work experience (or a master's degree, or equivalent experience) is required.

Additional Qualifications

  • Experience with machine learning/ deep learning
  • Knowledge of wirless communicaions systems and standards such as: 5G, LTE, WLAN, UMTS, Bluetooth
  • Experience developing signal processing algorithms
  • Programming experience in MATLAB
