Develop and Test BMS algorithms for Fault Conditions

Overview

The integration of renewable energy sources into the global power grid is accelerating, requiring the use of advanced energy storage solutions. Central to these solutions are battery systems. A robust Battery Management System (BMS) is crucial for ensuring the operational integrity, safety, and longevity of these storage systems, especially under fault conditions that could compromise system performance and safety.

In this upcoming webinar, MathWorks engineers will demonstrate how to develop and test BMS algorithms for fault conditions. Attendees will learn how to leverage Simscape Battery, Simulink Fault Analyzer, and Stateflow to develop and test BMS algorithms capable of identifying and fault conditions that may arise in these dynamic environments.

This session will cover:

  • How to design BMS algorithms for fault conditions
  • Systematic approach on testing BMS algorithms for fault scenarios using Simulink Fault Analyzer
  • Example on detecting fault conditions using Stateflow

Highlights

Attendees will learn how to:

  • Design BMS algorithms for fault conditions
  • Systematically test BMS algorithms for fault scenarios using Simulink Fault Analyzer
  • Detect fault conditions using Stateflow

About the Presenter
