Targeting upstream professionals in geoscience and engineering, this workshop addresses extending subsurface data analysis with robust AI-driven workflows to support reservoir characterization, modeling, and simulation.  Join this session and discover how MATLAB seamlessly integrates with Petrel® to facilitate the execution of an AI-driven integrated facies workflow by streamlining data exchange between the two environments.

Highlights

  • MATLAB interface for Petrel. Learn to directly read and write data between a Petrel project and MATLAB, in addition to performing Petrel operations from within MATLAB.  Detailed focus is on working with seismic data and running AI-driven workflows.
  • Hybrid Seismic Facies Classification. Learn a workflow for integrated facies classification that combines a signal classification model (based on an RNN architecture with multiresolution wavelet analysis) and a U-net CNN architecture-based image classification model.
